FIRST…I can’t reveal the cover art for “Copper Gone” just yet, but what I can do is show you this selfie that I took this morning while standing on a mountain of scrap metal. Also, I can tell you that I’m listening to the mastered version of the album for the first time ever. I went through so much shit for this moment right here. Rather than trying to explain the impossible, I’m just going to get naked and cuddle up with my headphones. When you get a chance to do the same, I hope you feel as rewarded as I do. I’m almost ashamed to admit how much caffeine I’ve consumed while finishing this new album. It’s certainly not the only thing that has kept me fighting my way out of the hellhole, but coffee has definitely been the thing I most look forward to every night. Starting around 8pm. Heck, it’s 9:30 right now and I just finished 4 cups. We’re finalizing artwork for “Copper Gone” and I fly out to Austin in a few hours for SXSW so DON’T YOU DARE JUDGE ME.
